Pneumatic bikes are non petrol typesand obviously they are The bikes of the future.Here a conventional I.C. power engines are replaced by fluid power which used in normal bikes.The power system in this vehicle doesn’t work by combustion of fuel instead by means of pressurized fluid power such as air or other gases.The core objective of such bikes are to bring a zero pollution factor and to preserve the environment .It works on the principle of generation of power in a two wheeler by using fluid power which results in replacing the power system of conventional IC engine instead of petrol engines.It can be achieved by the continuous reciprocation of pneumatic cylinders whose rod ends are dotted with a mechanism (i.e.) linked to the crank of an IC engine.The linear reciprocation of cylinder is then converted into a rotary motion which drives the vehicle.
It has normally closed and normally opened relay and a compressor to compress atmospheric air.It includes a a electric motor as a drive which is operated by the signals of torque sensor.Torque sensor is a transducer which converts the torque acting on the wheel into a analog signal.The signal is then send to the relays and thereby playing an immigrant part in switching over the power from motor to cylinder.The cylinders which now start reciprocating become the drive source.
Speed of the vehicle is inhibited by means of metering valve which meters the flow of the air inside the cylinder.This valve can be used to initiate the flow to increase and as well as to decrease.The regulation would give the speed variation or the vehicle.Here braking is achieved to stop the vehicle at the instantaneous time.This is achieved by metering the valve which completely stops the air flow.Note once the torque increase lineraly the motor is employed so in order to stop this,the hand brake is applied which act as switch between the supply and the motor,gradually cutting of the supply.
